Browns Scouting Combine 2007

The Browns had a coin toss with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this morning at 7:45. The Browns came up winners and will select 3rd overall in this years draft!

Here's some rumors for the possible top 3 picks.

1. Raiders - JaMarcus Russell QB
2. Lions - Joe Thomas OL
3. Browns - Brady Quinn QB

1. Raiders - Calvin Johnson WR
2. Lions - Brady Quinn QB
3. Browns - Adrian Peterson

1. Raiders - Jamarcus Russell QB
2. Lions - Brady Quinn QB
3. Browns - Alan Branch DT Michigan

1. Raiders - Jamarcus Russell QB
2. Lions - Brady Quinn QB
3. Browns - Adrian Peterson RB Oklahoma

Personally, I'd like to take this pick and trade down. Possibly get a low 1st or 2-3 second rounders. Build our team with more draft picks. I don't think the Browns could risk another bust this high again.

I just couldn't wait to put my shorts on...

God I love when the weather breaks. I love when we have 10 days of freezing cold and all I can think about is wearing my cargo shorts again. My calves are so bulging. My tight white socks and sneakers only emphasize how often I hit the gym to work out my calf muslces. When the weather breaks like this, man I make up excuses to go to the grocery store wearing my cargo shorts. I love when everyone looks at my calves and cargo shorts. I usually hold out until the first blizzard, or sometimes even untill the 2nd blizzard before I pack the cargo shorts away. All I can think about when I'm buying my cargo shorts from Kohl's is, "God, my bulging calf muscles will look so big in the winter." I just can't wait until the weather breaks again, like 50 degress so I can drive with my windows down smoking cigarettes in my shorts. I'm hoping to buy a 89 Chrysler LeBaron convertible in the next day or so. Rolling the window down doesn't do it's justice to my sweet new terminator sunglasses. In the dark, foggy, inside, it doesn't matter.
God I love Cleveland Weather.

Round and Round, Around the Roundabout with Randy Roundtree

I was getting onto W14th this morning on my way into work, as I do everymorning, and as I waited to get onto the roundabout (seeing as traffic was unusually busy this morning on W14th) my eye was fixated on the Steelyard commons. Then all of a sudden it hits me. What a horrible idea, why would anybody in their right mind want to shop in a steelyard?

I remember driving through Gary, IN last month and seeing the same concept of a steelyard commons in full functioning form. Is this where we get our ideas to improve our city? From Gary, IN? We have plenty of lakefront property and even a river we could continue to clean up and develop into a urban shopping community, and that's where I believe are focus for development should be.

Your thoughts?

Foulke's a Flake & Cavs at the all star break

As you might have heard Keith Foulke is expected to retire today, how do you think this effects our closer role for this coming season?

Also, Cavs top the Lakers for the second time in as many weeks 114-108, with James leading the way with 38 points. So as we head into the All Star break with a record of 31-22 how do you think the Cavs will perform after the break? And with the trade deadline approaching fast do you think the Cavs should make some moves to beef up the roster for yet another playoff appearance?
